IP Generation acquired a 50% interest in the centre in March 2022 based on highly compelling pricing metrics. The 44,852sqm centre is set on over 269,000sqm of land, and includes a leading triple supermarket offer of Woolworths, Coles and Aldi, with major tenants collectively making up 49% of total GLA. Major, national and chain tenants collectively represent 84% of total gross rental income.
The Trust represented an exclusive opportunity for wholesale investors to partner, via IP Generation, with Scentre Group, the leading owner and operator of retail destinations across Australia and New Zealand. The IPG Helensvale Retail Trust is the only example of a non-institutional co-investor partnering with Scentre Group in Australia and New Zealand.
